Notice; We will be upgrading the Akana SaaS Global Environment to the Akana API Platform 2020.2.7 (from 2019.1.31).

After serval weeks of running 2020.2.x in the Akana SaaS Smoke environment, we have full confidence in a production deployment.

This is considered a major upgrade that will require the uplift of the backend database engine, necessitating ~4 minutes of scheduled downtime necessary to switch over to the new DB instance.. This ~4 minute downtime period will affect the Developer Portal and OAuth functionality while the DB instance is switched over. Gateway traffic otherwise should not be unaffected.

The EU environment upgrade (to 2020.2.7) will be scheduled for the second week in August via a separate Status Page Maintenance announcement.
